Lee Gardens Lee Gardens [Playdot Summer Exclusive] Wawa Lab Art Workshop
Creative Project-Based Wawa Lab Art Trial Programme Arrives at Playdot!
Inspire Creativity × Aesthetic Appreciation × Confidence Through Art
About The Art Laboratory
The Art Laboratory is dedicated to promoting Project-Based Learning (PBL), encouraging children to learn through meaningful, hands-on creative projects. Throughout the learning journey, students are guided to explore, experiment, reflect and refine their ideas while completing their own unique artworks.
Designed to nurture creativity from an early age, the programme provides young children with a supportive environment where they can freely express themselves, develop observation skills, strengthen problem-solving abilities, appreciate art and aesthetics, and build confidence through creative exploration.
Course Highlights
Specially designed for children aged 2.5–6 years, this sensory art programme focuses on creativity, aesthetic appreciation and hands-on exploration through a progressive four-session Project-Based Learning experience.
Theme 1 — Wacky Monster
Children are encouraged to transform their wildest ideas and emotions into their very own one-of-a-kind monster creations. By thinking beyond traditional templates, they will develop creativity, self-expression and imaginative storytelling skills.
Theme 2 — Cyanotype × Kintsugi
Children will explore the fascinating interaction of sunlight, water and photographic printing through Cyanotype, while discovering the traditional Japanese art of Kintsugi, learning to appreciate the beauty of restoration and the philosophy that imperfections can become something beautiful.
Through this four-session programme, children will:
• Develop sensory awareness and aesthetic appreciation
• Strengthen hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
• Foster creativity and imaginative thinking
• Build confidence through independent artistic expression
• Complete their own unique artwork
We create. We do art experiments!
Let your child discover the joy of exploring the world through art, imagination and creative play.
