About the Guests
Jordan Leung
The up-and-coming artist, who returned to Hong Kong from the US in 2020, has been learning Cantonese slang and catchphrases to tune in with the local audience. He enjoys pointing out local nuances and keeps a notebook in his pocket to help him develop ideas and structure them for a performance. Leung hopes locals can embrace and support other forms of the art.
Maitreyi Karanth
Maitreyi Karanth has sold out a dozen one-woman shows at the legendary TakeOut Comedy Club, and starred in the film My Indian Boyfriend (2021) now available on Disney+.
As an actor and producer, Maitreyi took up stand-up comedy as just an extension of her real life persona at the age of 44. Being married and having lived outside India for 22 years, first in the Middle East and now in Hong Kong, she has collected a treasure chest of funny experiences across different geographies and cultures. After her very second open mic she was spotted by Saurabh Pant who was then touring Hong Kong and asked to open for him. Since then she has opened for Tom Cotter, Gina Yashere, Atul Khatri, Amit Tandon, Tom Rhodes, Paul Ogatta and Sean Patton. She has also performed in Bangkok, Singapore and India as a featured comedian.
Garron Chiu
Garron Chiu is an American born stand up comedian based in Hong Kong. A mainstay in the Hong Kong comedy scene, he was featured on Comedy Central’s “Stand Up Asia!” season 2, and was the winner of the 2018 Hong Kong International Comedy Competition. He has made people laugh on stage in 37 cities across 18 countries, mostly in Asia. He has performed with world class acts such as Jim Gaffigan, Hannibal Buress, Ari Shaffir, Tony Woods, Roy Wood Jr., Pete Lee, Alonzo Bodden, Paul Ogata and many more. On stage you will find him talking about his wife, his dog, which one he loves more, as well as if he is too Asian or not Asian enough. All while making people laugh along the way. Oh, he also rocks the best eyebrows.

Kári Gunnarsson
Kari has rapidly risen in the Hong Kong scene since starting comedy in 2018. He's one of Iceland's greatest exports, and not just because they can't make anything else. Kari's humour revolves around his unique takes on nightlife and trying his best to never self improve. Catch him at a show or claiming he will definitely be home by midnight this time.

2. Please arrive at Urban Sky (9/F, Hysan Place) at least 10 minutes before the event starts to redeem your drink and check in.
3. No change or refund request will be accepted once booking is confirmed.
4. If No. 8 Typhoon or above or Black Rainstorm signal is in force 4 hours before the activity starts, the event will be cancelled without further notice.
5. Declaration - Personal Data Privacy
By participating in the event, the participant hereby agrees that Hysan Development may process all relevant personal data provided for the purpose of registering for the event. All personal data held by Hysan Development will be securely stored and handled. This declaration includes the following:
· The participant gives consent voluntarily and without being coerced or threatened in any way.
· Hysan Development shall not disclose the personal data provided here to any third party without the participant's prior written consent.
· The participant agrees to waive any right to claim compensation or reward arising from Hysan Development using the personal data for authorized purposes.
· The participant is aware that they can notify Hysan Development in writing at any time to withdraw their authorization. Subsequently, they
have the right to request the cessation of Hysan Development’s use of the relevant personal data.
· The participants are aware that photographs and videos will be taken during the event, and they consent to Hysan Development using these photographs and videos for their purposes.
