【Gonpachi｜A Japanese Izakaya】

Gonpachi is named after "Shirai Gonpachi", the main character of the traditional Japanese play "The Kabuki", who represents strength, bravery and Bushido spirit. Gonpachi, the izakaya magnate, has won the favour of the Japanese Prime Minister to host banquets with the heads of states. The restaurant immerses a trace of traditional culture and style of izakaya into the centre of the modern city with wooden materials in vermilion and deep brown to build up the vibe of Edo izakaya and semi-open tatami area.

The restaurant specialises in three signature dishes: yakitori skewers, buckwheat soba noodles, and sushi. In particular, the skewers are grilled using Japanese Bincho charcoal to bring you the most authentic flavour of Japan.
