Firmly established as the world’s premier rugby event and one of the most popular sport events in Asia, the Hong Kong Sevens attracts some of the world’s best rugby players and thousands of fans from around the globe to Hong Kong. Suspended for the past three years due to the pandemic, the highly anticipated event is now back with a total of 45 matches held from 4 to 6 November at the Hong Kong Stadium.

In 1968, the Hong Kong Rugby Union (HKRU) became a founding member of Asia Rugby and was committed to the development of the game in Hong Kong and across the region. Initiated by the Hong Kong Football Club back in 1976, the Hong Kong Sevens has grown from a mere 12 teams competing in front of 3,000 audience members, to today's international rugby revelry now attracting over 34,000 local fans to witness the world’s best 16 men’s team vying for the title. The HKRU also provides competitive and social rugby opportunities for people from all walks of life, creating a thriving community of over 10,000 players.

Hysan has always been highly supportive of local sports development. To promote the triumphant return of the Hong Kong Sevens and encourage public awareness of various sports events, Hysan has invited rugby players from different teams and varying backgrounds to participate in the production of a promotional video. As the first and most anticipated stop on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series circuit, the Hong Kong Sevens gathers all 16 rugby teams from across the globe, including our very own Hong Kong's 7s squad.

The grand opening of Grappa’s Cellar at Lee Garden Two is most exciting! With an expansive space of 4,800 ft2, the restaurant is divided into upper-level bar and lower-level dining and performance areas. This spacious restaurant is a no-brainer for friends finding a place to eat and chi-chat! Former head chef of Grappa’s and Domani, chef Cosimo Taddei has travelled all the way from Florence to Hong Kong to open this restaurant, bringing with him a unique menu filled with traditional Italian staples and brand-new dishes designed to blow customers away!
